New technologies and trends emerge everyday.
I’m interested in building websites and applications for all shapes and sizes,
from single-page applications powered with React.js to large content-driven sites built with a powerful CMS like WordPress or Drupal.
A headless CMS was the craze 10 years ago, but now isn’t that hard to set up.
Developing is quicker using SASS, Tailwind CSS, and pre-processors.
Responsive sites are necessary as people are browsing more on mobile devices and smaller screens are just as important as large screens.

I enjoy both designing a site and developing it. Mainly focusing on Front End Development and UI/UX, I create sites aimed at captivating the user and allowing interactivity for a pleasant user experience. Modern sites must be dynamic in both content and layout. With mobile browsing steadily rising, responsive layout provides for a better viewing experience. I make content dynamic and updatable using CMS technology such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.

New site yourbodytheteacher launched! YBTT focuses on Somatic and Hakomi healing. Located in Grand Rapids, MI, YBTT takes a different approach to healing. The site features a flat approach to the design, and is powered by WordPress. A complete revamp gives the site a clean and easy to use feel.

Web Developer and Designer by day, multi-hobbiest the rest of the time. I specialize in Front End Development and Design, but I definitely appreciate the thrill of successfully passing a variable and having a seamless new output. I prefer detailed sites using custom design work. I keep up with new trends such as: Responsive sites, parallax display, new frameworks, and read various blogs. I love the interactive aspect of websites, surprising and enlightening users to create a strong connection. Outside of the web I have many hobbies, mostly involving animals, nature, electricity, and gasoline. I'm also working with Unreal Engine 5 to develop Virtual Reality apps.
